Our Mission
Selah Surf is a mentorship-based surf programme using the ocean as a vehicle for personal and spiritual growth in the lives of young people from Ocean View. Every surfer is paired with a mentor for consistent, one-on-one guidance both in and out of the water.
The heart of the programme is the relationship — not the sport. Guidance in the water builds trust; guidance out of it is where real transformation happens. Week after week, mentor and surfer show up for each other in a safe, nurturing space.
Selah Surf runs out of Ocean View, building faithful, long-term relationships with young people through consistent presence and mentorship — week after week, in the water and on the shore.
The ocean itself is central to the work. It offers challenge, calm, presence, and perspective — the kind of context where real conversations happen naturally and real growth takes root.
